We invite you to join the Croydon Bach Choir for an exhilarating workshop as we delve into the magnificent choruses of Bach's Mass in B Minor. Under the expert guidance of our wonderful Music Director, Tim Horton, this full-day event promises a day of exploration, camaraderie and beautiful music-making.
Open to singers of all levels who can follow a score, this workshop will be held at the modern and well-equipped St Matthew's Church on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. With its spacious and light-filled interior, excellent accessibility for the disabled, and ample parking, this venue offers the perfect setting for an immersive musical journey.
Your ticket includes score hire, as well as tea, coffee, cakes, and biscuits to keep your energy levels up throughout the day. Remember to bring along your lunch, so you can refuel as you share stories with fellow participants.
The grand finale will feature a free, informal public performance, showcasing the fruits of your labour in a truly memorable way. While we have hire scores available, you're also welcome to bring your own, even if it's a different edition.
Please note that registration and payment are required in advance to ensure that we can provide you with any additional information in a timely manner. Unfortunately, tickets will not be sold at the door.

- 10:00 am to 10:30 am: Arrival and registration
- 10:30 am to 11:30 am: Rehearsal session 1
- 11:30 am to 11:50 am: Refreshment break
- 11:50 am to 12:50 pm: Rehearsal session 2
- 12:50 pm to 1:50 pm: Lunch break
- 1:50 pm to 2:50 pm: Rehearsal session 3
- 2:50 pm to 3:10 pm: Refreshment break
- 3:10 pm to 4:10 pm: Rehearsal session 4
- 4:10 pm to 4:30 pm: Pre-performance break
- 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm: Informal performance

Refreshment and Lunch Breaks
Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits will be provided to all singers during the breaks at no extra charge, but we suggest that you bring your own packed lunch.
Dress
Dress will be informal so do wear anything you feel comfortable in.

Cancellation
If, in exceptional circumstances, this event has to be cancelled, booking fees paid will be refunded. No refunds will be made for any other reason.
