Handel's Messiah Choral Workshop, Saturday 16th October, 2010.

Everyone is welcome. Also, we would like to invite singers from school and church choirs, either individually or choirs as a whole.  We are also very keen to encourage any singers who have difficulties with mobility. The facilities at St Matthew’s Church for both singers and audience who may be physically disabled are excellent and everything can be reached on one level.

It is not necessary to be able to sight-read but you will need to be enthusiastic about the music and willing to work hard during the day.

This will be a free workshop for singers under 18 and anyone - regardless of age - who is registered disabled. All other singers will be asked to pay a fee of £12.00

The cost of music hire will be £2.00 and this should be booked in advance.

The day will commence with registration at 10.00am and end with a Concert performance at 5.00pm. Tickets for the audience at the concert will be £5.00.

Everyone will be provided with tea, coffee and biscuits during the day but please bring your own packed lunch.

Dress will be informal but it would be very nice if Sopranos could wear something pink or red and Altos blue or mauve. Tenors and Basses - feel free to wear what you wish!

If you wish to attend the workshop please complete the booking form and send to Helen Draper, Warnham Lodge, 2c Harewood Road, South Croydon, CR2 7AL.
